Office Professional (all genders) in project management
Part-time (10 hours/week) | limited to 2,5 years

The Research Center for *Geometry and Computational Design (GCD)* at TU Wien is offering a position as Office Professional (all genders) in project management limited to expected 2,5 years for 10 hours/week. Expected start: July 2025
Tasks:
- Accounting and financial administration of research projects, as well as the implementation and control of the timely interim and final accounts of various funding programmes, taking into account the applicable project guidelines (FFG, WWTF, EU, etc.)
- Supporting the project management in the handling of research projects (from the application phase to the coordination of budget, budget reports, personnel resources, etc.)
- Contact person for project accounts and any external financial audits (audits)
- Communication with national and international donors, project partners and external auditors
- Management/administration of the accounting and ordering system using SAP
- Support of scientific staff in all administrative matters as well as organisation of scientific events (conferences, congresses and workshops at national and international level, in particular the annual GCD symposium, various GCD workshops and GCD seminars) and proactive activities in the personnel area (renewals, updates, etc.)
- General secretarial tasks (incl. web presence, in particular the GCD website and social media activities)
Your profile:
- Commercial training, knowledge of accounting (preferably with Matura)
- Very good IT user skills (e.g. Office 365)
- Knowledge in SAP of advantage
- Excellent written and spoken German and English (at least level C1)
- Digital skills
- Analytical Skills
- Independent organization and planning as well as good time management skills
- Personal responsibility, adaptive capacity, accuracy and stress resilience
- Team spirit and communication skills

Entry level salary is determined by the level IIIA of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 674,80/month gross, 14 times/year for 10 hours/week. Relevant working experiences may increase the monthly income.
