At the Institute of Building- and Industrial Construction, in the Research Unit of Integral Building Technology TU Wien is offering two positions as university assistant post-doc (all genders), each position is limited to expected 6 years for 20 hours/week. Expected start: January 2025.
Tasks:
- Conducting research in data-driven energy services with a strong focus on automated Fault Detection and Diagnosis.
- Writing publications
- Collaboration on teaching tasks as well as examinations
- Participation in scientific events
- Assistance/Collaboration in organizational and administrative tasks
Your profile:
- Completion of an appropriate doctorate and in-depth knowledge of the subject area
- Extensive foundational knowledge in machine learning, with practical experience applying advanced techniques to time series data analysis and modeling.
- Excellent skills in English communication and writing
- Experience in national and international research cooperation as well as in project management and presentations
- Organizational and analytical skills as well as a structured way of working
- Excellent command of the English language and very good communicative skills and team competences

Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade B1 of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 2,376.20/month gross, 14 times/year for 20 hours/week. Relevant working experiences may increase the monthly income.
