Technical Support Video Platform (all genders)

Full-time (part-time from 30 hours per week possible) | unlimited

The Service Unit of Software Development TU Wien is offering a position as Technical Support Video platform (all genders) (Full-time, Part-time from 30 hours per week possible, unlimited).

Tasks:

  • Helpdesk support for the TU Wien Video platform (LectureTube)
  • Moderation of the video platform including processing and provision of videos
  • Assistance with lecture hall support for video solutions
  • Fault analysis and quality assurance
  • Support in the implementation and configuration of our applications
  • Configuration and programming of devices in over 40 lecture halls equipped with LectureTube
  • Preparation of information materials and implementation of training courses
  • Procjet support

Your profile:

  • Helpdesk experience in the IT sector and with ticket systems (Jira, Redmine, etc.)
  • Experience in dealing with video management systems (Opencast, Kaltura, YouTube, or similar)
  • Experience in dealing with online learning tools such as Moodle is an advantage
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Customer orientation
  • Good communication skills, solution-oriented work, and enjoyment of dealing with people

Entry level salary is determined by the level IIIB of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 2,958.90/month gross, 14 times/year for 40 hours/week. Relevant working experiences may increase the monthly income.
