In the Service Unit of High Performance Computing TU Wien is offering a position as student employee (all genders) in research/administration for 20 hours/week. Expected start: immediately. This position is limited to expected 31.12.2027, but no longer than the completion of a master's or diploma degree.

Tasks:

  • Support in Design, implementation, testing of web applications
  • Committed collaboration in the preparation and implementation of projects in dataLAB
  • Cooperation in organizational and administrative tasks in the field of teaching

Your profile:

  • Enrolled in a relevant bachelor's program of Computer Science; No completed master's or diploma programme in the subject area
  • Experience in python and JavaScript
  • Experience with automation of cloud stacks (Openstack, Kubernetes) and cloud applications an advantage
  • Experience as a tutor is an advantage
  • Team- and communication skills

Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade C of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 1,379.60/month gross, 14 times/year for 20 hours/week.
