The department Doctoral Center TU Wien is offering a position as Office Allrounder (all genders) limited to expected 1 year with the option of permanent employment in part-time (from 30 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week). Expected start: November 2025.
Tasks:
- Administrative and organizational tasks in the implementation of internal continuing education programs
- Assistance in organizing events and meetings
- Independent handling of organizational and administrative tasks of the DOC Center, as well as administrative and organizational support for projects and activities of the DOC Center
- Administration and updating of databases
- Support for the DOC Center website
- Management of the DOC Center’s social media channels
- Travel management (i.e., planning and booking of business trips to national and international conferences, etc., in coordination with the travelers)
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training (e.g. office clerk, accounting) or higher school education (e.g. Matura, specialized Matura) or comparable professional experience
- Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
- Experience in a university environment or tertiary education sector is an advantage
- Proficiency in IT applications and excellent knowledge of standard office software (e.g., MS Office)
- Experience in managing and maintaining social media channels
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Experience with web and office applications as well as in graphic design is beneficial
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Efficient, reliable, and structured working style
- Analytical skills and ability to communicate and share information effectively
- Accuracy and a sense of personal responsibility
- Service orientation and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Resilience and flexibility
- Tolerance for ambiguity and ability to work in a diverse environment

Entry level salary is determined by the level IIB of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 1,920.10/month gross, 14 times/year for 30 hours/week. Relevant working experiences may increase the monthly income.
