The Service Unit Software Development at TU Wien is offering a position as Technische_r Mitarbeiter_in Videoplattform for 40 hours/week (Full-time | Part-time from 30 hours per week possible, unlimited).
Tasks:
- Configuration and programming of devices in over 40 lecture halls equipped with LectureTube
- 2nd level support for our streaming infrastructure in lecture halls
- Moderation of the video portal as well as processing and provision of videos
- Analysis and resolution of software and hardware problems (in cooperation with different departments)
- Responsibility for the overview and planning of the lecture hall equipment in relation to LectureTube and the associated quality assurance of the lecture hall extensions
- Support in the implementation and configuration of our applications
- Creation of (technical) documentation
Your profile:
- Experience in using video management systems (e.g. Opencast, Kaltura, YouTube or similar)
- Ideally familiar with online learning tools such as Moodle
- Experience with audio and video recording devices
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Ability to work in a team, independence, and a high level of sense of responsibility
- Analytical and organizational skills and planning, time management, and ability to innovate

Entry level salary is determined by the level IIIB of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 2,958.90/month gross, 14 times/year for 40 hours/week. Relevant working experiences may increase the monthly income.
