In the Department Center for Research Data Management in cooperation with Information Technology Solutions TU.it of the Vienna University of Technology we are looking for an immediate reinforcement for the development of a data repository.
This position is part of a tender within the framework of the BMBWF (Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research) funded call "Digital and Social Transformation in Higher Education" for the funded project "FAIR Data Austria", which is carried out within the cluster "Research Data".
You develop together with the Center for Research Data Management and the TU.it an integrated system for storing, managing and publishing of research data
You integrate your solutions with existing systems and others that are currently under development (e.g. repositories for code and database, machine-actionable tools for data management)
University degree or technical education (HTL, FH) plus relevant work experience
You have passion for software development
You enjoy to learn new technologies, research and apply learnings to daily work
You already gained experience in Software Development: Python, Java, SQL and no-SQL databases, Elasticsearch, etc.
Desirable skills: GIT, Gitlab CI, cross-platform development Linux and Windows
Good command of German and English is required

Remuneration shall be based on the minimum remuneration for salary group IVa and shall amount to at least EUR 2.673,10 gross/month for weekly employment of 40 hours (14 x per year) and EUR1.336,55 gross/month for weekly employment of 20 hours (14 x per year).
